About Washi Tape vs. PET Tape

1. Texture: PET tape has slight graininess, while washi tape has minimal texture.
2. Transparency: The non-printed areas of PET tape are transparent, making it easier to cut out designs (ideal for beginners). Washi tape is opaque.
3. Opacity: PET tape includes a white ink layer, reducing show-through. Washi tape is more translucent.
4. Water Resistance: PET tape is water-resistant; washi tape is not waterproof.
5. Special Effects: PET tape’s glossy coating offers vibrant colors, while washi tape’s matte finish creates layered, textured depth.

Pre-Purchase Notes

1. Slight color variations may occur; actual colors depend on the product.
2. Tape edges may have uneven cuts, incomplete patterns, or adhesive residue.
3. Minor shifts (within 1mm) in special coatings are normal.
4. Washi tape is a thin, semi-translent paper with a natural off-white hue (not pure white). PET tape is a transparent, nylon-like material.
